Edition 2025

Competition for the Implementation of Innovation in Healthcare

Categories: outpatient care, hospital care, self-care/self-care

The ‘Implementation of Innovation in Healthcare’ competition is a unique initiative aimed at a wide audience: doctors, medical personnel, healthcare facility managers, administrative staff, IT specialists, technology experts, and representatives of founding bodies.

Competition Categories

Participants may submit their projects in the following categories:

  • Outpatient care
  • Hospital care
  • Self-care / Self-management

The competition will also award a special distinction in the category ‘Implementation – how Artificial Intelligence (AI) has changed patient care’ for projects that exceptionally use AI to improve efficiency, healthcare quality, and/or deliver measurable economic benefits.

Who is invited to participate?

We invite both those who have implemented their innovative ideas in individual facilities and those whose solutions operate on a larger scale. The competition is open to initiatives of various scopes – from local projects to region-wide solutions. Submitted projects must relate to solutions implemented within the past two years.

Does the innovation have to be technological?

No! Innovation in healthcare is not limited to modern technology. It also includes process improvements, new organizational approaches, educational solutions, or improvements in patient service standards. If your actions bring real benefits, increase efficiency, comfort, or patient safety – we are looking for you!

Goal of the competition

Our goal is to promote new solutions and best practices by recognizing clinics and hospitals that have developed effective methods of implementing innovation. We also want to recognize facilities that have implemented AI-based solutions and are ready to demonstrate the safety, effectiveness, and patient benefits achieved through AI.

Voting
in the competition

In the first stage, we invite the Polish Chamber of Physicians and Dentists (Naczelna Izba Lekarska) IN Community to vote. People who are members or join by 15.09.2025 will be able to participate in the vote. Those outside the Polish Chamber of Physicians and Dentists (Naczelna Izba Lekarska) IN community will not be eligible to vote. The top 10 submissions in each category will advance to stage II – evaluation by the Competition Jury.
