Alison Curfman, MD, MBA, is Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of Imagine Pediatrics, a first-of-its-kind solution that surrounds children with medical complexity and their families with an extra layer of 24/7 medical, behavioral, and social care at home. As CMO of Imagine Pediatrics, Dr. Curfman leads the company's Clinical Strategy, Clinical Delivery, Behavioral Health, Quality and Safety, and Mobile Integrated Health teams. Previously, she worked at Mercy, a multi-state health system, serving first as Medical Director for Pediatrics at Mercy Virtual and then Clinical Director of Pediatric Operations. While at Mercy, Dr. Curfman developed and implemented the first fully virtual complex care program for pediatrics, resulting in significant cost savings and drastically improving quality of life for children with complex medical conditions. She continues to practice at Mercy as a Pediatric Emergency Physician. In addition, Dr. Curfman holds Executive Committee positions for the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Telehealth and for SPROUT Telehealth Research Network, which she co-founded in 2016. Dr. Curfman graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Biology, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with an MBA, and Case Western Reserve University with a medical degree.
